Default Using Live Cycle Designer to create PDF forms with database backend

I have created a PDF form using Live Cycle Designer ES ver 8.2. Users can fill out the form, print it. However, I also want the data that they populate the form with to save to the database. How can I make the database update part work using this application? Any advice, online references or books on how to achieve is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Todd
