The year mentioned in the ketuba is 5555 (!) from the creation of the world.
So that gives 1795 CE as the date of the wedding. A fancy ketuba could have
been commissioned a year or two after the wedding, but more likely was
written before the wedding and used at the ceremony. The signature of the
two witnesses at the bottom suggests it was used at the ceremony.
