Hi...

I'm using GL 9 on a PPC G5, OS-X 10.5.5

When I copy a file from a finder-window into a GL-Site (into the site window), open it, do some changes and then try to save the document, I get a «file could not be saved»-error (-54)...

I did have this problem on other occasions already, then I could get rid of the error by downloading the file from the FTP-Server to the local site again... this time, I can't do this...

Any ideas...?

What kind of file? And how are you copying? Normally you'd just drag a file into your site window and let Golive make a copy.

If it's an html file, what do you see in the inspector under 'Creator' when you select the file? It should be GoMk for Golive to recognise it - at least up to CS2.

It's a PHP-File - and I'm dragging it from the finder into the site window...

And I can open it fine after that - I just can't save it anmyore. Will have to check for the «Creator», though - maybe that helps...
