New Pictures Load Up Red

Default New Pictures Load Up Red

When I load up a new batch of pictures from my CF card, the image thumbnails initially look to be the correct colour and exposure.

However, Bridge then seems to go through each image in turn and as it is doing so, each image them "pops" and turns a shade too red and goes too dark - why is it doing this, and is it controlable?

Is Bridge reading some info in the file that has come from the camera (a Canon PowerShot Pro 1), or is it reading some sort of preset that I can edit?

Any help would be most appreciated.

By any chance are these pictures shot in RAW? If so check out John"s post #1 in the link below.

My read with CS4 is that one can choose an option for the thumbs to display in JPEG if you just want a quick look which would avoid this problem.
