Thanks for the comments. I've put up a small example at <http://www.troubleboy.com.au/Test/index.html>

The first page is Golive default CSS and is yuck.
The second page sets margins for the paragraph1 style and is still pretty ordinary
The third page uses a different style for body text and bullet text (as I use in my site) but also has the line height set to relative = 1.2

The Line Height change made the most consistent result for me... but am I setting the

element correctly? The bullet list on index2.html uses paragraph4 for bullets
with all margins set to 0 and line height as well.

The browsers I'm comparing are Safari PC, Firefox 3.01 and IE 7.

Maybe it would be a help if you define clearly for us what it is you are
trying to achieve. Can you do that?
