Re: premiere pro - no audio import on .mpg incs3, but works in cs2?
That was brilliant!!! My ONLY problem with this solution is that now my widescreen video has been squashed. Obviously the native storage of widescreen is similar to the old CinemaScope process on film - the image is stored in 4x3 and then expanded. In this instance the .mpg showed silent but the video carried the correct parameters to stretch it to 16x9; when I changed the extension it imported beautifully but those embedded parameters were lost. Do you have an easy way to re-stretch the video?
