Greetings all. I'm rewriting the family page (my experiment place) and am
mixing Spry with includes and javascript files. When I have all the pieces in one file http://ebogott.com/index08-2.htm, it all works. However, when I stuff the header, left nav and footer into includes they fail.http://ebogott.com/index08more.shtm. In Firefox, I get the source. In IE7, I get the display without the includes. I have many guesses as to why, including mixing spry with javascript, not cutting out the include correctly etc. Would you please take a look at the files and see what you can tell me? Thanks, Karl |

Murray,
Thanks. I've spoken with the host and not gotten a warm-n-fuzzy. :frown; I sent them the forum thread in the hopes that they'll see the error on their own. They say that the servers are all set for HTML, but I don't think they understood. I'll let you know if they fix it. Karl |

Where are you hosted now? What OS is your current host server?

:grin;Murray. Once I got past the 'gatekeepers' the host enabled SSI and all
is well. Of course, I have sizing and cross browser issues to resolve, but at least it is working. Thank you for figuring it out. How could I (the lowly amateur) have figured that out? What pixie dust did you scatter? Y'all have a great day, now. Y'hear? Karl |
