Default Problems with blu-ray motion menu

Hello everyone. I'm doing a blu-ray project for a tradeshow with just one video and a motion menu. The idea is that the motion menu just keeps on playing & looping until the presentor starts the video. As simple as this is Encore is kicking my behind on couple of issues. 1) We really want to have a transparent (invisible) button to link to the presentation. However no matter what I do I can't seem to get the button to be invisible. I make the button completely transparent in photoshop, save it as a psd and inport it & Encore adds its own colors & I can't seem to do anything with the highlight control. 2) Since the project is blu-ray, the format is 16:9. When I play back the disk I find that my menu is either letterboxed (on my dell laptop) or is 16:9 but at 1280 X 720 (on my panasonic going out to a Samsung monitor). In other words, even though both the video & the menu clip are at the same size, the menu clip looks different than the video clip. What's up with that? I'm working in Windows XP with CS3. Thanks in advance.

1. Edit the Menu Color Set.

2. Double-, triple-, and cross-check the frame size and PAR of all of your assets that are used as part of the menu background. Do this for your Premiere Pro project, your source video and your export settings.

Hi Jeff,

Well I did edit the menu color set and my transparent button is still black. I also check my video assets and they are both listed as 1440 X 1080 (thought I exported them out of compressor as 1920 X 1080. Any other suggestion guys?
