Hi,

I am interested in upgrading to Production Premium CS4 and having trouble figuring what upgrade I would be eligible for. I currently own Video Collection Standard 2.5 (Premiere Pro 1.5, Encore 1.5, AfterEffects 6.5 and Audition 1.5). Can anyone tell me which upgrade path this qualifies for?

The Adobe Store is not real clear on this version.

If you click on Production Premium CS4 in the store, then click on the "Upgrade" tab, you will see an item that reads "Upgrade Eligibility" on the left side.

I'm not sure if you qualify for an upgrade...from what I can tell, only the last 2 versions qualify (Prod Studio CS3, Prod Studio CS2). Basically, everything "Creative Suite" and forward for the last 3 years of releases. Your best bet is to call Adobe sales and ask them what you qualify for.

Worst case scenario, you may qualify for the single-product upgrade from Premiere Pro 1.5 since any version of Premiere Pro OR Premiere (v6.5 and prior) qualifies for upgrade. I know that After Effects 6.5 doesn't qualify for the upgrade to After Effects CS4, so perhaps that was the cutoff for the suite that AE 6.5 was part of as well (your suite, the Video Collection 2.5). Does that make sense?

Anyway, like I mentioned, you would be served best by calling Adobe sales on this issue. Hope this helps!
