Hi all,
as the topic title says, i want to make a new template backround for the invoices of my business and as im a newbie i wonder whats the best and more convienient adobe program to design the invoice template. Thanks in Advance. |

I use Quick Books. The very idea of doing this with anything other than
a dedicated accounting program makes me dizzy. It allows you to customize the invoices pretty nicely, add a logo, change the fonts, etc. What more do you need? Trust me...The clients don't care about what the invoice looks like. They care about how much you're charging and how good the actual job looks. Bob |

Make sure that your invoices are clearly and neatly presented, and that the billed scope of work is described in a way to anticipate client questions when they review and approve them. That is far more important than a gorgeous, award-winning design.
You don't want to have the phone calls having to defend your charges, no matter how fair they are. Phone calls can catch you off-guard and just invite even more questions. Neil |

I agree with Robert - by all means design your logo or header and import that to an accounts program. In Australia I use MYOB which is similar to Quick Books. It's then easy to generate the GST (tax) reports and information for the accountant.
