That's ok for asking. I think you didn't understand the question.

As soon as I press "Build", it takes over an hour to transcode before Encore actually needs a disk to burn. During this hour I would like to watch movies or do other stuff with the DVD drive but I can't because like I said, any disk I put into the DVD drive will show as empty in Windows explorer until Encore has finished. (With Encore CS2 I didn't have this problem.)

For now, as a temp solution, I DON'T press build, but I do "Transcode Now" and then later I do the bulid that once transcoded, only takes about 7 minutes. So this way, at least I can my DVD drive in the meantime.
