Default Re: Standardization across the board (Rant and Wishes)

ok, so I am once again working on the project that got me upset enough to rant and wish for better software...

I had another thought about something that I just encountered. I hate the zoom features. doesn't matter which production suite program I am talking about, each zoom works different so how do I pick one that I like and say that I hate all the others?

in after effects I don't know how the zoom works at all. when I hold the alt and wheel my mouse on the timeline it zooms in. then when I try to zoom out by going in the other direction I get different results than what I expect. in Photoshop and premier holding alt and wheeling the mouse do the same thing, they zoom in and out according to the direction you wheel the mouse. in audition I have to use the ctrl key instead of the alt. I haven't been in illustrator lately but I would bet that it is some how different from the others.

standardize... trying to remember all the differences are giving me a headache.
