I am working in GL9 and it has just started doing something weird. When I open the CSS editor, after I have finished with it, the CSS window won't close. It just sticks within the window of the page I'm working on and so obliterates the page - or part of it. I cannot move it or close it so the only way to get rid of it is to close the file I'm working on and re-open.
It is just happening on one particular site. The problem occurred on my desktop PC; so as I have a brand new lap top with a new installation of GL9 I tried it on that but I get the same problem. Help would be appreciated as I can't work on that site until I can fix it! |

Thanks for the thought but it doesn't fix it. Yes, I can tile/cascade but the part of the CSS window that overlapped the layout window remains behind. In fact, any window that overlaps the layout window while the CSS window is open seems to get pasted in to the layout window.

Yes - default workspace.
What's weirder is that the problem only happens on stuff I've been working on in the last few days. If I open an older site and use the CSS editor it works fine. I would normally associate that sort of problem with a memory problem but that doesn't seem to be an issue here. |

Yes, I have.... however, breaking news.... I have just set up a totally new blank GL9 site and it seems to be working OK. Maybe there was a corrupt file or something in the site I was working on. Just now a matter of rebuilding the whole site!
Thanks for your thoughts. |
