Re: Menu Won't Loop
Shaun,
"Why in the world did an override on a button on the 1st submenu cause a problem with the main menu looping?" Because Overrides are the work of the Devil - no, not really. They were useful, if one fully understood them, their functions and limitations. With the advent of Playlists and Chapter Playlists, their use is relegated to the "esoteric," and should only be used in rare instances. Now as to your question above, I do not know. It does NOT seem logical that an Override on a Sub-Menu Button would/should/could affect the Looping of one's Main Menu. Maybe Jeff, or Ruud, can explain the why/how. I almost wish that one could put tape over the Overrides, like I have to do with my main power switch for my workstation - the cleaning crew always wants to turn it OFF and then the UPS's all kick in with more squeals than a pig farm! I have now applied a ton of gaffer's tape and a big red sign, "DO NOT TURN OFF!" Same for Overrides, "DO NOT TURN ON!"
