PA 2.0 does not recognize Canon Powershot A540

The camera shows up on the list of devices but PA tells me the camera is busy or not connected. Camera is on, connected and operating correctly. PA recognizes my other digital camera, a Fugi. Is the Canon driver compatible with PA?
