I am experiencing a problem making a certified pdf. I am working with a logo (illustratorCS2) which consists of 1 spot color and 100% black. When I make my pdf, the black converts into cmyk values; the other text (black) from my indesign(CS2) document remains in 100% black. My colleague does not experience this problem, same files, same appearance of black preferences! I do have CS3 installed on my computer (I am the sole guinee pig), but do not use it yet. The preferences sometime go haywire with the combination of the two being installed. Could the one have something to do with the other? Any ideas where the source of this "cmyk black" problem might lie?
