When I try to save all content within InCopy, the whole program shuts down and I receive this error:
--------------------------- InCopy.exe - Application Error --------------------------- The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x7813892c. Any idea what the problem is? |

Thanks. I'm using InCopy CS3 version 5.0.3 and Windows XP 2002, SP2.
On the Story tab of an existing .indd file, I'll check out a section, make changes, and check in. I've tried saving content before checking in, and that works. However, if I go to File, Save All Content is the only option that isn't grayed out. When I select it, I receive the message that InCopy has to close and then the above error comes up. When I reopen the document, I receive the following message, and some but not all of the changes I made will have saved: "(file name" may be damaged. Do you want to open it anyway? That message did not come up when I first opened the file, so it wasn't damaged at the start. Do you think an uninstall/reinstall of InCopy might help, or is there something wrong with my workflow? |

Uninstalling/reinstalling seemed to take care of the error, but my changes still are not saving. I can right-click and select Save Content before checking in. My only save option in the File menu is Save All Content. This seems to work, but when I close and reopen the file, my changes have not saved.
InCopy is new to me, but I haven't seen anything in the Help guide to figure out what I'm doing wrong. The Help guide indicates I should be able to use the other Save options in the File menu, but I don't know why they aren't available. |

Just to be clear...you're using a layout workflow (opening an InDesign
file) not an assignment based workflow, right? The InDesign file is also CS3 5.0.3, right? That wouldn't make anything crash but it doesn't help if ID isn't the same version. You and the InDesign user have full user rights on the server? Bob |
