A co-worker just came to me with that line-spacing problem in a document he had imported to InCopy from Word. I followed your advice and found that the leading in the affected section was indeed different than what the paragraph style called for (in this case, the leading was 12.4 rather than 12.0). I corrected the leading and everything readjusted perfectly.
