I'm trying to take a path (some type I converted to outlines) and offset the path so the font gets thinner. So I go to Path-->Offset Path and type in a negative value and.....nothing. Did Adobe change things to CS4 I'm unaware of? This used to work.

Yep, you're right. Still, wouldn't it make more see the results of the offset rather than see it layered on top of the original? Makes it easier to figure out what you did and if you set the offset to be too much or too little?
