Turn off automatic updates of Frame Maker 8

How do you turn off automatic updates of FrameMaker 8?

Is that something that can be done via the Windows registry?

In the Adobe Updater (i.e. click on the Help > Updates...), select the
blue "Preferences" link and you will see the a configuration page that
will allow you turn off the ability to automatically check for
updates.
