Well, NUTS! Even after demuxing the supposedly Blu-Ray-ready H.264 from VideoStudio and importing it into Encore, Encore still insists on transcoding it.

So much for Encore. Guess I'll be making my BD's in VideoStudio too until Adobe gets their act together and finishes their AVCHD support.
