Default Encore CS4 and AC3/Dolby doesn't work

I admit i never tried it before, but now i start trying to do things with surround (for my next project), and just started to use Encore. I really like the great intergration it has with Premiere, but i didn't understand one thing... Why can't it burn my AC3 files?

I tried in so many ways, i encode a surround project to avi + AC3 files, i encoded it to a wave file (unencoded which i know it shouldn't work) and also tried to encode them both on the same file.
When i'm trying to play it on my PC, it works fine at 5.1. I can burn it with NERO-VISION and it works perfectly. But when i'm trying to do it with Encore i hear only the front channels...
Why?
and what can i do with it?

I wanna use encore for all things (and nero-vision isn't smart as encore)

Lior,

There is a update to Premiere CS4. It supposedly fixes the SurCode issue. The original release did not have it, so even if you owned the plug-in, it would not work. Look on the Adobe site (or use the Updater) to get both the 4.0.1 and the separate AME updates. This *should* fix it for you.

I use the SURCODE plug-in to encode from premiere.
(but on Encore i hear the front channels as stereo only, and the rest is gone)

Lior - also keep in mind that Encore cannot preview 5.1 audio: you will only hear the stereo mixdown in Encore.

Burn a DVD or Blu-ray (re-writable, of course), and then play the disc in your player and you will hear 5.1 audio, provided you have a surround setup.
