Hi Paul;

Yes, you can use a URL to a H.264 encoded video (or FLV) as the source in your PDF in Acrobat 9. This is the perfect solution to keep file size down as long as the receiver of the PDF is connected to the internet. You can use HTTP, HTTPS, RTMP, or RTMPS.
