If you don't know what I'm referring to try saving a document in CS3 that is filling the entire screen, close it, and reopen the file. The artboard will be "shifted" off-center when you open it again. This is very annoying since you have to hit "fit to window" each time a file is opened.

Try saving a View. Then you can easily go to that view again if you need to, even if the file doesn't open in the same state as when you saved it.

That's the same as hitting fit to window each time I open a file. Why would I do something different if it saves me no time?
