Is it possible to build Illustrator CS 3project template in Illustrator CS 2 ??

Hi all,

im new to develop plug-in mac. I need to bulid and develop the plug-in in Illustrator CS2. Is it possible to create the plug-in by following the steps given in porting guide of illustrator CS3 for developing the project template in illustrator CS2? tried this but i got 3 build errors???

Anyone please help..
