Hi,

I've googled this topic endlessly and cannot find anything exact, I'm trying to install a copy of Illustrator CS3 on a brand new pc with Vista SP1.

I am able to instll the software, howevever when I click on the application it shows the hourglass then disappears. In Task manager the illustrator.exe process showsbut nothing in the application log...

I have also restored the pc back to originals state, run the adobe clean tool and reinstalled - same issue persists.

Any have any ideas on this? Input would be much appreciated...
