Re: round just one corner
Not in Illustrator. InDesign provides a proper Scripts Palette for organizing and launching scripts. InDesign's scripting model provides for creation of multi-option dialogs. Illustrator still hasn't responded to that need.
You should be able to employ the Actions Palette to at least launch a script. Though reported and complained about many times by just about everyone who dinks around with AI scripting, a bug has existed for four versions now that prevents it. You can invoke a script by an Action during one work session. But as soon as you quit and relaunch Illustrator, the Action step that calls the script is blank.
CS3 Bridge scripting can now be used to create proper dialogs and multiple option boxes that can operate in Illustrator. I fear that's going to be the eternal excuse for failing to provide a better script handling interface in AI. But it adds another level of tedium and complication in building a scripted solution. It's great in that it lets you build more sophisticated scripts. But so far, I've only had time to experiment with it a bit, and I don't think all that ought to be necessary just to sort, browse, and launch your collection of scripts.
