Re: Adobe Golive 9 for sale
I have the upgrade version of GoLive CS2, and recently when I bought a new computer Adobe would not help me get it installed, saying they no longer supported the product. The problem is that because it is an upgrade it wants to see the previous version on the hard drive, but there isn't one because it is a new computer. You can insert a disk to prove you have the earlier one but it won't recognize that. The problem is compounded by the fact that I have upgraded many times over the years, so to get to the original, non-upgraded software I would have to go back into the 1990s.
So even though I own all the products legally, they will not help me get through the serial number screen to get it installed. My advice is bite the bullet and convert to Dreamweaver, which is what I did for the sites that used it. Dreamweaver is good once you get used to it.
