Are you sure you are going through the correct process to make links,
did you understand the distinction I was making?

Kath you are the best. I did understand the distinction but didn't know what to do with it. Then it came to me as I worked quietly on the problem.

You distinguished between a resource for an image on a page and a hypertext link that takes you elsewgere. Here's what i did and what appears to work in Layout view, in Preview view (I know, redundant), and in a Safari browser view:

1. Select the thumbnail image on the page.
2. Go to the Inspector.
3. Click the "Link" tab on the Inspector. (Finding that tab was the AHA moment.)
4. Pick-whip-it to the page file in question.
5. Relax.

Some thumbnails link to a page with more than one image on it so the anchor idea is worth spending a few minutes on. But frankly since randomness is part f how people use the Web, and since at 73 I don't want to be making these links till I'm 93, I'll prob just link to a page.

AFAIK, problem solved.

I would be curious to know how to post an image when that is necessary. But unless you are compulsive about such things, save yourself the time of providing the tutorial you had mentioned.

I think we're done. I hope so.
