Roger,
I don't know if your Catia/Acrobat issue has been fixed yet, but we encountered a similar situation. We have Catia V5R17 and Acrobat 8.1.2 on Windows XP 64bit. When we first went to 64bit, the Adobe PDF print device would not work. There is a Windows Hot Fix to correct this issue at: <http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=333360&sliceId=1> After installing that Hot Fix, the Adobe PDF print device worked perfectly from Catia.
