Photoshop CS4 and Cuda - a couple questions

Do i -need- the extended version to have CUDA support?

and do i install the special CUDA drivers ( currently 178.08 ) or do i install my standard GeForce 8 series drivers ( currently 178.24 ) OR do i install both ?

I'm running a 320mb 8800GTS on XP pro 32bit.
