In my experience, although PSP will import and export .psd format files, they are not completely compatible with Photoshop-derived files (for the 'not-an-Adobe-product' reasons above). So even if you try to replicate Photoshop/Encore's layer-naming conventions to get a PSP menu with buttons, it won't necessarily work as you expect. At least, it didn't for me!
