Canon G10, Unable to Import Raw Images to Lightroom?

Hello!

I'm not able to import my Raw files from my new Canon G10 camera. Is this an issue that Adobe has plans to rectify and if so how soon?

Is there a work around for this issue that someone can shed some light on?

Hank,

I can't answer your question about Adobe rectifying anything but if you
convert them to DNG (RAW) format. See Adobe site for DNG converter.
It's a work-around that you should be able to use just fine.

I am assuming the G10 hasn't been out long. Therefore it is possible that an update for the raw files has not been made public yet.
If you have any questions about lightroom, you are better off asking in the lightroom forum. Some of us have yet to even try lightroom. But then again I could be the only one. Oh so lonely...
